Gaelle has 24 years of experience as a consulting actuary, having worked both for healthcare payers and in the employer arena. She advises multiemployer health and welfare plans, public entities, and bargaining units for their actives and retiree employee benefits. She also prices Medicare Advantage and Part D plans.
Her experience includes plan design, rates/contributions setting and strategy, evaluating vendors, negotiating with vendors, and statement of actuarial opinions for reserves adequacy.
She is the firm’s Medicare and Pricing Subject Matter Expert and leads the firm’s Data Numbers and Analyses Committee which provides support for pricing, developing and maintaining pricing and other financial tools.
She is a good listener and communicator and combines strong data analytical skills and actuarial expertise to create tailored solutions for clients.
She joined Cheiron in March 2011.
She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the highest professional accreditation, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
