Greg Reardon, a Principal Consulting Actuary for Cheiron, has over 15 years of actuarial experience in providing strategic consulting for global employers sponsoring retirement benefit programs.
Prior to his employment at Cheiron, Greg was Associate Partner in the New York office of Aon Hewitt, where he was the lead retirement consultant providing benefit consulting services related to defined benefit pension, retiree health care and post-employment plans. He managed a wide variety of plan designs and worked with clients to assist in identifying, understanding and managing pension risk in a challenging economic and regulatory environment.
Greg has been able to effectively assist his clients in de-risking their pension plans through analyzing funding and investment policies, alternative plan designs and assumption studies.
Greg has extensive knowledge in plan and employer financial accounting requirements, IRS cash funding regulations, alternative plan re-design, corporate transaction projects, and benefit administration related to qualified and non-qualified defined benefit pension plans.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a concentration in Financial Accounting and Economics from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, where he graduated cum laude. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
