Zach has nearly eight years of experience as an actuarial analyst working with multiemployer and public pension funds. He also works with single-employer plans and other post-employment benefits or OPEB plans.
His experience includes annual actuarial valuations and government filings, including Form 5500, experience studies and calculating benefits and withdrawal liabilities. He programs actuarial models and calculation spreadsheets. He helped three plans apply for and receive Special Financial Assistance.
He enjoys working on complex actuarial problems and developing solutions that are easy to understand.
He joined Cheiron in June 2017.
He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and is working toward becoming an Enrolled Actuary and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
