Jana has more than six years of experience working with public sector and multiemployer pension funds. She also works with retiree medical plans.
Her experience includes actuarial valuations, experience studies, plan design studies, withdrawal liability calculations and reports, programming projection models, benefit calculations, government filings, and drafting accounting disclosures.
She is good at explaining technical actuarial concepts in plain English to boards of trustees, plan administrators, and other non-actuarial staff.
She joined Cheiron in June 2017.
She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
