Heath has nearly three decades of experience advising public and private sector pension plans.
His experience includes leading client teams to deliver accurate results within the time expected. He reviews and certifies actuarial valuations and develops financial projection models. He consults on special studies such as plan design, union negotiations, and de-risking.
He constantly strives to improve the long-term sustainability of pension plans through planning for the future, using sophisticated tools, and communicating actuarial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
He joined Cheiron in August 2022. He was previously the leader of Nyhart’s Defined Benefit Practice, focusing on public and private retirement plans.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries.
