He specializes in multiemployer plan mergers and has worked on several transactions involving multibillion-dollar funds. His experience includes conducting merger analysis and managing actuarial valuations. He also prepares zone certifications, withdrawal liability, plan designs, government filings, projection modeling, stochastic studies for de-risking, and financial disclosures.
He helped a multiemployer plan successfully apply for Special Financial Assistance under the American Rescue Plan Act.
He regularly presents to boards of trustees and speaks at industry conferences.
He is easy to work with and good at simplifying complex actuarial concepts, helping clients evaluate their options so they may make informed decisions.
He joined Cheiron in April 2024. He previously worked for more than two decades at Milliman Inc.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the highest professional accreditation, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
