Casey has more than 20 years of experience working with multiemployer and single-employer pension plans, including as the enrolled actuary for some of the largest healthcare organizations in the Northwest.
His experience includes managing actuarial valuations, financial disclosures, zone certifications, plan designs, government filings, projection models, stochastic studies for de-risking, and presenting to trustees, finance committees, and corporate boards.
He helped a multiemployer plan successfully apply for Special Financial Assistance under the American Rescue Plan Act.
He is easy to work with and enjoys helping clients solve actuarial problems. He is good at simplifying complex actuarial concepts so plan trustees may make informed decisions.
He joined Cheiron in April 2024. He previously worked for more than two decades at Milliman Inc.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, the highest professional accreditation, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
