Michael Noble

Mike has more than two decades of experience primarily advising multiemployer and public pension plans.

He enjoys using projection models to help trustees understand the financial risks their plans are exposed to so they can safeguard the ability to pay promised benefits.

He has worked with several plans to analyze the impact of variable plan designs on benefits and funding requirements and developed a framework for large public retirement systems to assess their fiscal stability.

He is a member of Cheiron’s multiemployer plan steering committee and often speaks at industry and actuarial conferences.

As a former high school math teacher, he enjoys solving complex problems and communicating the solutions in plain English to pension plan trustees and staff.

He joined Cheiron in November 2007.

He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
